    When fake TV survival expert Rock Cartwright is challenged to a winner takes all survival-off by his younger, better rival, he finds himself in a race against time to get out of the Californian wilderness and back to Los Angeles.

If he knows nothing then the younger man is not just a rival. He’s the only survival expert in the story. So if the contest is to get dropped into the wilderness and find a way back to LA, which I’m assuming, the younger man is clearly going to win unless…Well, unless something. And that something is your story and should be in your logline
