When a misfit discovers that she, and the rest of humanity, are just a computer simulation, she must team with a rebellious AI to prevent the simulators shutting down the virtual world in an attempt to stop humanity from being reborn.
I really like this idea. I know there's no room in a logline to write this but how would the A.I. be manifested in the story? As far as budget goes, maybe worry about that after writing a treatment. Maybe it just needs the inciting incident clarified more to give it some original context eg, she drops a glass and it stops mid air, she reaches for a light switch that was never there etc.
