I'd love to know what the big problem is. The "its not like he thought" sounds like you are hiding the stakes. How about this: A?high school drug dealer comes under the radar of a psychopathic drug lord when he starts openly selling drugs on the dark web.

The problem in ghost stories is that the audience doesn’t believe in ghosts from the outset, so we need more than one act to get used to the idea and start believing.

The movie?Insidious deals with a father dealing with ghosts – then finding out he has a forgotten past as a psychic late in the second act. Paranormal Activity’s female lead doesn’t mention she has dealings with ghosts in the past until the midpoint.
