It’s about how the internal society of artificial intelligences (intelligentsia?)begins to work, form and self regulate, and does so before it’s really noticed by the outside world. The rogue AI is a serial killer of sorts, but killing of the other personalities, the other AIs. This is about the why of that and the repercussions both within the networks and on the outside of them.

Got it - thanks for the feedback. As I mentioned in my first log line for a separate project (too short by far), this one is too long. I need to massage it a bit & try to repost. Also, I did read a ton of Fforde, but it was years ago :)

Ok: so my first attempt at a log line was too short, my second, too long. The Singularity is the moment when artificial intelligence becomes real. The hook I'm trying to build is that this happens when a guy loses an arm, and in the process of creating that arm he accidentally spawns the first AI.
