    Sounds interesting. Why is this the only way to solve this problem though? Can't they just stop the ship? Or blow it up? I'm thinking that maybe the doctor is onboard the ship.     I’m thinking that maybe the doctor is onboard the ship. That way, not only is he trying to find a cure, he has to not get infected at the same time. Adds urgency and keeps the action in the ship. You could also have it so the ship’s communication system is damaged or something so Earth doesn’t know it’s coming. One of the worst things that can happen with a logline (or indeed a film) is somebody saying “why didn’t they just…”. If the doctor is onboard the ship already (I read it that he wasn’t) then make sure it’s clear.

    Definitely got legs though. Keep working on it.
