During the Great Depression, a racist U.S. veteran is deported and stranded in Mexico, where he joins a community of betrayed repatriates and fights to survive—and to reclaim the home and country he once served.
Hello, JJQUINTANA. I could help you with some questions: 1. Is it necessary for the protagonist to be racist? Does his racist behavior hinder his relationship with Luz and the group? 2. Hello, JJQUINTANA.
I could help you with some questions:
1. Is it necessary for the protagonist to be racist? Does his racist behavior hinder his relationship with Luz and the group?
2. And why is it a veteran? Why not a simple U.S. citizen with both lineages who was deported by mistake? Does his experience in battle help the group?
3. Is he a US citizen?
According to my query, immigrants’ offspring could legally stay in the US, yet authorities deported them indiscriminately.
3.1 If he is a US citizen, and there are documents that prove it. Why isn’t his main goal to prove it?
3.2 If he’s not a US citizen, let’s say, he is an undocumented American-Mexican son. I guess if he really wants to go back for any reason, it’s justified that he could fight for it with violence.
4. This isn’t a question. More like something that is off. Even if it’s not historically accurate, you’re free to create a farm prison. It’s fiction based on history after all.
However, I would recommend someone to punch. Perhaps an evil landowner, associated with a corrupt federal agent, who doesn’t let him leave.
I hope my humble perspective can be helpful. Bye
See lessWhen the feisty pirate emperor kidnaps their kingdom, an abominable feline-human boy and a weak princess must find someone in the “awfully violent” neighboring empire closed enough to accuse him to the emperor’s dubious mother before marrying their queen in a wrestling presentation.
Also, excuse my bad temper. I'm working in it.

Well, i need more practice... I'm going to review your example in detail. Thank you. PS: You didn't use When and manage to subtly put the major event between the goal and the obstacle. Impressive
