    I like this idea but give the protagonist WAY more flaws. Contrast him with everyone around him happy and using super powers to make life easier but he still struggles with basic human competency.? In spite of the odds he still has a WILL to prove himself. He doesn?t have to accomplish much to be heroic but he can still be contextually amazing.? ?Being super smart is a super power in its own right so subverts the intentions of the plot quite a bit.? How else can he prove himself? I?m sure there must be something more primal.? Have him Thwart the enemy but it can?t be easy.? He has to struggle.? He succeeds because he wants to.? Or he could have some plot armor where the enemy?s power is to take the power of who ever he faces so when he faces the protagonist it is a basic fist fight? Having no power in this case would be a HUGE advantage.

    When a villain with the ability to use the power of his foes against them emerges, an ordinary teenager must rise to the challenge and prove you don?t need powers to be a hero.?

    I have the same concern as the other reviewers.? If he has these skills than why does he have to pull double duty as a bartender?? Why is he not already a bodyguard or hitman?     I have the same concern as the other reviewers.? If he has these skills than why does he have to pull double duty as a bartender?? Why is he not already a bodyguard or hitman? You shouldn’t need other movie ideas you haven’t made yet to help explain the logline of the current movie.? The logline needs to stand on its own.? Him being a bartender doesn’t seem to have much to do with what the story is actually about.? Make it stand out with irony that’s believable.

He’s been high for most of his adult life and functions normally, recently he got fired and dumped for his outed THC dependence.? that’s why he’s the only ‘stoner’ that can figure out the connection that THC prevents and cures zombification (Im thinking of saving this revolation for the midpoint).? all the others are so stoned you can barely tell the difference between them and zombies.? some don’t smoke enough and turn into zombies. And yes the teens will be mostly whimsy when they talk about killing zombies and the round them up… one of them is actually a little crazy because weed make him paranoid to up the stakes….? There’s also a side buddy romance that ends up being the actual romance (maybe) as he goes on an adventure with another seasoned cannabis user.? The ark is he has to accept himself and live the life that inspires him rather than conform to what others expectations are… his ex is portrayed as controlling and superior.? he has to make the journey from inferior to superior and believing in himself.? the epolog has him saving the world and his ex trying to come back to him when he is famous and he rejects her.? a full turn from the begining scene where he is dumped and fired.
