Thus far, it’s about a journalist, sick of interviewing plastic celebrities – he wants to interview someone of substance.
Upon discovering this reclusive movie star – he becomes infatuated, obsesses and plans to write a book.
After a lot of persistence, he manages to get an interview with this woman. However, she parries/stonewalls and (as a great actress) feeds him fiction. His main goal is to get to the truth of her past and why she disappeared.
In order to do so, he becomes what he hates – he seduces, charms, persuades, uses every trick in the book. He too, lies. Not only that, it becomes clear he has a hidden agenda: to write a book. And she has an agenda too: to feed him nothing but bullshit.
Anyways, as the night goes on, they slowly (both) begin revealing the truth and he gets what he wants (but the price is: he’s exploiting this woman’s pain. By why? – Money? His integrity as a journalist?)
All throughout, they both steadily fall in love with each other – as they realize how alike they are. Very similar trust issues.
Anyways – that’s what I’ve got.

Thanks guys. I’ve started working on an outline for this one…
Also, new logline:
An ex-con, out to kill a reformed paedophile, falls for the man’s protective sister.
Richiev:
I’m thinking the ex-con was molested as a child and having this reformed paedophile next door conjures up some old demons.
More so, it’s interesting because both the ex-con (who as a result of his own molestation, had a lot of anger issues and thus ruined his life, going in and out of prison, etc.) and the reformed paedophile are both trying to get on with their lives and move on.
Scott:
Thus far, the ex-con returns home. He reunites with family and friends – all of which still see the “old” him/no believes he can change for the better.
The ex-con gets a meet cute with the sister – a woman who is very selfless, forgiving, and believes we can change for the better (as the film progresses – her faith in people is tested.)
The ex-con, finds out about the reformed paedophile next door (a recluse living in fear) and this conjures up some bad dreams/demons. After a fight with his family, and a few drinks, he decides to get rid of these demons by killing this man. (And perhaps even going back to prison.)
He marches over to next door. Gun hidden in his jacket. And opening the door is… the sister.
After that – I’m not giving anymore away ha.
