Since telepathy involves direct extra-sensory communication among ?wetware, that is,mind to mind, no need for intermediate hardware/ software systems, what difference will it make if a programmer can hack into a hardware/software system? ?Isn’t the whole premise of telepathy that those who have the gift don’t need ?a hardware/software system to communicate?
There is a lot going on in this concept, which can be good but can also work against it.
This is obviously a scifi story with a twist, an inexplicable force of nature – telepathy, is being used agains super technology. ?This can be interesting and reminiscent of Minority report. However I think the additional complexity introduced by the setting i.e the whole solar system, and the fact that all humanity’s freedom of thought is at stake may be a bit much if not confusing. Lastly what exactly does “?say good-by to freedom of thought?” actually mean? Will the telepaths control all brains in the solar system or will their be a device that does this? Or is there an “evil corporation” behind it all?
If the main character is the programmer than perhaps best to describe the events from his or her point of view, and simplify them to focus on their actions alone. Why must this particular character save everyone? What is the personal stakes? What motivates him directly to take action?
