An innocent Connecticut high school girl is transplanted into the urban life of Bensonhurst Brooklyn during the 70’s disco years. Prize money from a Latin Hustle dance competition could be her ticket back home, but when she reluctantly falls in love with her Italian boy dance partner she has to decide where her heart truly resides.

Okay - I must confess I should probably watch Saturday Night Fever, Dirty Dancing and Strictly Ballroom (or Ballroom Dancing in other countries) again. So I'm not sure how unique it really is.

Is this a time travel movie or is the whole story set in the 1970's? From 'transplanted' I guess the first.

In any case, I like the premise: dance romance meets fish out of water. If done well, I believe this will forever have an audience.

This is a great logline. It's all there: clear single protagonist who has a visible goal (return home) but on top of the external obstacles, she becomes internally conflicted.

Four stars from me. Well done!
