This seams like a very good idea. You would have to make it very psychological to make sure it was not cheesy but it is a very good idea. I like the title also.

Sounds good man. Hate me for it by all means, but when I read this I think comedy. Jim Carrey is the dad in my head. Just thought I’d share that…

Very enticing plot! A couple of descriptive adjectives to build the atmosphere will help. What kind of parents? (Rich, poor, mentally ill, deceptive, powerful, sociopathic?) What kind of home? (Centuries old, cavernous, haunted, falling apart, indescructible?) These words should also give us an idea of what kinds of problems the girls are up against in their journey. It sounds great!

Jim Carrey, that would be a very different movie.

This idea may have been played out, but so what! Just about everything else has been and people will always go to the movies to see the same thing over and over. I think your Log Line is great, short and to the point. A filmmaker could take this idea in several different directions i.e. comedy or horror.
