Ella, a conservative palliative care nurse falls madly in love with her fiances cousin Maddy, a young tattooed musician who, after her mothers sudden death, has returned to her home town and disapproving family.

Ella, in her late 20’s, born into a conservative Catholic family is engaged to who she believes is the man of her dreams. But when her fiances cousin Maddy returns to town after the sudden passing of her mother an unlikely friendship is formed. How will Ella respond to her strongly developing feelings for another woman?

Maddy is completely opposite to her family, the black sheep. She has tattoo’s, is a musician and completely open and free about her sexuality. A topic which although not discussed with her extended family is not approved of.

again there is no pay off, i believe there is a set up, a conflict, opposition, i need more to happen to let me know in one sentence what the whole movie is about, and this is a typical scenerio, it isn’t anything unique, so i need for something drastic to happen, something shocking, cause, right now, it sounds a bit boring. hope this helps

I feel like you have the details focused in the wrong place… do we need to know her job title or age? What is the main thing that we need to know about this heroine? Is she conservative to a fault? A pleaser? moral? What does she have to overcome – herself? her family? her religion?

Also, since you are dealing with a romance between two women, make sure we know who you are talking about when you say “her”
