Dakofman - Yes, your questions relating to the protag 'putting himself under so he can feel closer to his wife', is his primary goal. In doing so, he believes he can hopefully bring his wife back to life, but is unsuccessful.

Richiev - Interesting twist on the original logline. I really like it, although I have been trying to stray myself away from being too similar to the film 'Flatliners'. Anyway, its an old movie, and this story is very different!

Is this a physical journey to the border between life and death, like a trip to the afterlife? Is he dying by being there? Is he meeting his wife in the afterlife? Or is he putting himself under so he can feel closer to his wife? Is his wife comatose and is he trying to bring her out of it?

"Attempting to celebrate their 20th anniversary with his dead wife, a desperate widower conspires, against the wishes of his daughter, to stop his heart for five minutes."
