I beg to differ.? If you look closely, I think you’ll see that in most movies, the protagonist can only achieve her objective goal by first building a new relationship based on mutual love and respect with a love interest or ally.? Or repair an old one that was destroyed by misunderstanding and selfishness.

Within the context of her family,? her situation, building an emotional bridge to her grandfather is everything.? After all, she doesn’t have a father around, right?? And she’s not getting along with her mother, right?? The grandfather is her only hope of finding a grownup who will provide her with the kind of adult love and attention she desperately needs (whether she realizes it or not).

It’s a great concept. I think it’s got potential. Now you just need to make it entertaining. You need to add explosion to that story. Maybe instead of less controversial you could make it more controversial. Make it a comedy; Make the location a small town in Alabama. Make her black and Muslim; Add irony and risky stakes. Maybe she goes dressed to the nines and pees standing up while singing opera. Or maybe even a horror story. Or a thriller. Give her inhuman strength and make her go into men toilets and rape everyone in sight, then disappear. She could end up being an evil entity or an alien. Make the hero a baffled detective. It could appeal to both sides of the political spectrum like that. Why should we sit down and watch it?

    >>The evil dwarf-like creature appears and begins to torment the boy. As this character has appeared in severalof your loglines, I venture to surmise that you're looking for a plot vehicle in which to ?cast an evil dwarf. ?Why? What makes this character so dramatically interesting to you?
