    Hi Mike,

I’m going to plot this out today…

You might be right about the B-plot thing – we’ll see. I want to show how the friends are going in opposite directions, the straight man/recently dumped/wants-commitment and marriage falls for a woman who only wants sex.

Meanwhile, the manchild/mr.uncommitable falls for someone who does want commitment… and who happens to be the ex. They have met before. She was looking for “lightning” or “that spark” – which is why she dumped our straight man. She finds “lightning” with the manchild.

So yeah – we’ve got four people. Plenty of conflict. I might heighten this by making the two women best friends. We’ll see. That might be too much. But it will certainly build to an interesting boiling point.

It was going to be about sex, love, relationships, friendships and growing up. That bromance will still be at the forefront of things.

It doesn’t explicitly say the villain wants the emblem or kill her son — so why does the it lead off with them instead of her?
