    If it’s “GMO everything” that includes the human genome, right?? And if so,? then isn’t there a bigger issue at stake here:? eugenics, genetically engineering? “better” humans?

    What is the story really about?? (The decline of genetic diversity in crops predates GMO by decades.? GMO is a complication of the problem — not the cause.)

However, loglines are used to describe plots and that’s still unclear.

    What specifically does the MC want to achieve by the end of the story and how will he go about achieving it? In other words, what are the time cops threatening to do to him?

    Good point raised by DPG, if you look at Back to the Future the stakes were the MC's very existence. In this case, it's just rejigging a few facts, could you somehow connect that to a life and death stake for the MC?
