    After a sudden string of cattle mutilations a group of hunters are employed by the community to find and kill the predator responsible. However after venturing deep into the woods the group soon discover something far more sinister then simply just a wild animal.

    Richiev's logline serves the purpose. ?But I agree with Nir Shelter that the story lacks a hook to make it stand out as a new and different take on the man versus nature genre. ?It needs to find a trail less traveled through the genre?-- or blaze a new one.

    Four hunters, all strangers, become lost in the woods while on the hunt for a rare but dangerous animal. Now they must survive the elements, the mysterious animal and themselves as they discover that not all of them are who they initially claimed to be.

Eg hunters on a hunting trip, people on a hunting trip are hunters. ?So we can start with Four strangers on a hunting trip. ?Why must they survive, what triggers that?
