    Leaner, but why is he at risk? Is he in danger of doing hard time because he a suspect (even though he was a bystander), an accessory to the crime, a perp? What's his objective goal other than to evade arrest? Isn't it to prove he's innocent, have the real villain(s) brought to justice?
