1965. A twin teenager is raped and murdered on the beach. The first female cop of the force solves the crime but fails to connect the lines between the sisters.

      What difference does it make? The cop solved the crime — the objective goal, didn’t she? What’s the dramatic problem created by the failure to connect the twins?

      What MUST she do now? What’s at stake?

      I agree with dpg, if you add the part of, “fails to connect the lines between the sisters,” then you need to tell us how those lines connect with the murder. (If that gives away the ending, then I would drop that part in the logline and not even hint at it.)

      one twin is murdered, the other “cuts the line” by committing suicide. this script is also about the line dances that were done in the 60’s and the lines drawn between peers…financial, sports ability, popularity, etc. this was a tough one for me to write. all log lines are very hard for me.
