What differentiates the story world of this story from the story world of “The Matrix”?
Notice, I didn’t say character, or plot or objective goal.? I said story world:? how is the story world not a knock off of “The Matrix”??? (Because I’m guessing that’s is the inevitable comparison that comes to mind, the unavoidable question that any movie maker will want to know up front.)? How is the BBC (Big Bad Corporation)? be able to manipulate reality on a global scale, bringing all people everywhere under its digital delusion?
What is the gimmick that creates the story world?
Who is the antagonist, the Malicious hacker or the biotech corporation?
In other words, is your lead character trying to stop the Hacker or trying to stop the company?
