A closeted, sultry actress and a depressed, overachieving high school senior begrudgingly form a bond to overthrow a crazed anarchist bent on strengthening the divide between their two different lifestyles.

NOTE: I intended for this idea to be a mix of comedy, action, and drama with character-driven elements.
How does “Strengthening the divide between their two different lifestyles” look on screen?
Is the actress a lesbian? If not, and you want her to be an introvert, then I’d choose a different way to describe her than ‘closeted’. The second part seems a bit vague at the moment – who is the crazed anarchist, and why does he/she want to divide them more? ‘Join forces’ sounds a bit more active than ‘form a bond’. Also – what brings the two protagonists together, other than a desire to stop someone driving them apart? If they’re already apart, why would they care that the anarchist wants to divide them (if they are already divided)? I’m not sure of the world we’re in at the moment – just a word or two about the setting/world would help.
This version of the logline raises more questions that curiosity? in my mind. Like:
Is this conceived as a movie with dual protagonists?? And what’s the inciting incident that leads the two to bond for a common purpose?
And what is the anarchist doing, specifically, that creates the wedge issue between them?? And why is he targeting them?
And what is so wrong with a divide between two lifestyles that it must be narrowed?? That happens all the? time in real life.? What’s at stake if they fail to overthrow him?? Why MUST the divide be narrowed?
And by definition, anarchists reject power structures, hierarchies — so what is there for the duo to overthrow?? Particularly, when anarchists are the ones who are supposed to be doing the overthrowing.

I really like this logline. The descriptions of the two leads are very good! I think ‘begrudgingly form a bond’ could be made to sound more interesting, and you could also add why it is them who has to band together to bring down the anarchist.? The second-half to your logline is really intriguing and has the capacity for great action, drama, and comedy, and makes this a movie I really want to see.
