In a story, one of the most important elements is a lead character. It isn’t just a series of events. The lead character should be compelling and have a goal. The lead character forces the action and isn’t passive. The lead character is who the audience connects with and roots for.
As a result one of the most important aspects of a logline is the lead character… every logline should have one.
What Richiev said.
Also, loglines are meant to describe plots and a plot is best defined within a finite amount of time – a start point and an end point. The start here, or the inciting incident, is the coins being found but what is the end point or goal? What will the characters in this story strive to achieve?
