      In your first logline, there was no conflict.

      Conflict is when a character has a goal, and something stands in the way of that goal.

      In this logline you have given us a situation; But you haven’t given the lead character a goal

      Because there is no goal, there is no conflict.

      What is the lead characters specific goal?
      What is standing in the lead characters way?

      His goal is to complete the transformation that was initiated in childhood. He did not complete the transformation due to the strange nature of the experience and the UNSPEAKABLE FEAR that accompanied it.
