I like the idea of a homophobic singer waking up with a female voice, this is original and funny. Is the problem homophobia or machismo? I like the urgency (to have his voice back before the concert). I just don’t understand why he must find his “estranged doctor” – why is it hard to find? why can’t the singer go to another doctor? I can imagine many reasons but it would be better if the logline is more clear.
The urgency of getting his “real” voice back is enough, no need to add the obstacle of finding a doctor.
Like in all stories an inner journey is a good thing, him shedding his homophobia and gaining tolerance is great but needs higher stakes.
What if he is a singer in a successful neo Nazi heavy metal band or a christian fundamentalist group, him sounding gay could have far greater implications than just his career.
I would watch this movie, but why does he need this certain doctor? Other than that go on Kickstarter and make a movie man.
