Find a new purpose? So his objective goal is….to find an objective goal?

? The logline needs a statement of a specific objective goal that motivates him and defines the plot for the rest of the film.

How about adding more detail about the conflict here? For example, is he a spoiled movie star? If so, the harsh, amenity-restricted Australian outback would be a real challenge.

      Agreed with the above.

Also, find purpose in Australia? Of all places? Really?

I’de understand if he went to the Alaskan wilderness or a monastery in Nepal or even, cliche as it may be, an Ashram in India, but Down Under doesn’t sound plausible. Maybe it’s just me.

This is more of a set up than a story, the story would be what the lead does when he gets to Australia but your logline only tells us about why the lead came to Australia but gives no hint as to what the actual story is about.

You should also give us a specific scandal. Your best example of what drives the lead to run to Australia.
