A troubled teen must make the choice of either committing suicide or becoming a mindless Saint like the other visitors in a Catholic run detention center.
Is ‘self-absorbed’ the best adjective to describe the protagonist? Even something generic like ‘troubled’ or ‘brooding’ might work better. Also, his path is described in a ‘negative’ way- what he must not do. So what DOES he do in this story? That needs to be in the logline.
