      How about something like this:

“When a new superhero supplants him as head of the league of champions, the former leader must fight to reclaim his old position when he discovers the usurper secretly works for the league of Evil”

Hope that helped, good luck with this!

should it be a stronger villain that is rising to give a stronger protagonist. A stronger hero means that hes really a good guy doesn’t it? does he cause destruction to the world trying to defend his title?

Maybe you don’t even need the forced in there. You could just say ‘ must’

I LOVE IT… although the ending could improve ..

“He is now forced to defend his title to control the world he was once on top of”
