Isn’t the “After Life” a better place to be? Why does she need a do over?

well, it depends on what the after life looks like. Regardless, I don’t think anyone really wants to die when they’re young and feel like there are more things they want to accomplish in the real world. And in context to the story/logline, the characters death wasn’t actually supposed to happen.

To answer dpg, how about this concept:

This should be a love story, The lead is to be completely in love, but instead of getting a chance to fulfill that love, she dies because of the glitch.

Now the lead needs more than anything to go back to earth and see what might have been.

Perhaps she dies right before the first kiss. or even up the ante.

How about this for a death.

“Even though you have only been in my life a short time, it seems as though you have always been in my heart, I can’t imagine living my life without you, that’s why I wanted to ask you…” She dies.

Hi! Does the boss know it was glitch and is he involved in it? Would it be an advantage to him to have her there for some reason? Just wondering. I like your concept ~reminds me of one of my favourite shows (but with a different take, obviously).

I like the idea of her Boss agreeing on one condition – she has to repeatedly die prematurely to “debug” the system.

“When she dies because of a glitch in the system, at the moment the love of her life is about to propose, a former wallflower will stop at nothing to convince the boss man to send her back and give her a second chance at life.”
