I assume he uses his “flushing knowledge” from being a plumber to escape into the vastness of the ship. Again, the only idea here that peaks my interest because it’s new and ironic.
So some aliens are smart enough to build a high-tech craft for space travel to collect life samples from a planet like earth, but not smart enough to build a secure, tamper-proof compartment to store the samples.
Hmm.
Mentioning that it’s unmanned shouldn’t be included in the logline because it reveals something.
On the plus side, the plumber angle reads unique and interesting, I anticipate he uses his knowledge of drains to escape the vessel? Can’t say that’s been done before.
Wby just the plumber? Have him need to save others. Up the stakes.
If you are going to describe the lead as an alcoholic, then it should play into the story.
I think once a year, on Saint Paddy’s day, Joe’s bar has dollar beer night. The lead looks forward to it ever year. It’s his favorite holiday (Because of the cheap beer) Now he’s abducted and he is going to miss his cheep beer! No one keeps ‘the plummer’ from dollar beer night!!! Aliens gonna pay!
“When he’s abducted by an alien craft, an alcoholic plummer, not sure if he’s just really drunk, must outsmart the extraterrestrial A.I. if he’s to make it back to dollar beer night at Joe’s.”
