      Hello Castler Media,

Neat logline. There’s nothing I see here in desperate need of rewording or clarification. A [dead] failed actor and a so-so comedian trying to create a stellar Broadway production – Tony worthy?? I foresee endless struggles and conflicts with these characters.

I also get a drama-vibe from this, too, even though you have it assigned under Comedy.

Story is conflict. There is literally no conflict in this logline.

      As Richiev said.

And there’s nothing at stake, no compelling reason why the spirits failed actor and mediocre comedian MUST put on the production.

Even in comedy, there’s gotta be conflict and there’s gotta be stakes.

After a successful suicide attempt, the spirit of a failed actor risks his immortal soul in a wager with Death over the success of a brand new Broadway production.

In the major league religions, his soul is already damned for having committed suicide .?And this version obscures the fact that he’s producing the Broadway show. ? And how can he produce a Broadway show when he’s ?dead? ?And why would death take the wager when, in terms of the actor’s soul, ?he’s already won?
