      I think it gets a little too wordy. If I read that in the TV guide I’d pass because it’s a lot to digest. I also wouldn’t watch this based on the protagonist being a criminal of the worst sort. I really don’t want to watch a story that’s not based on a true one about covering a crime with body disposal. The first thing that came to my mind is not wanting to see them succeed, but for the police to catch them so her family can get some closure and he can get punished.

      I gota agree with ravenguy with the audience not really rooting for the main character so it has to be a really interesting story.
