      Hi,

Can I ask if you are referring to a Koala as in a native Australian animal? I only ask because of the contrast between a Native American boy and a native Aussie. This sounds like an adventure/Disney style
movie. I think the idea has legs but (assuming you are talking about a Koala) I’m not sure it’s the best fit.

Personally, a boy who finds a magic tomahawk whilst hiding out on a pirate ship, who then uses it to control the seas would be more interesting. I can see Pirates wanting a magic tomahawk more than a clawed fur ball.

      Thanks
