Perhaps you should incorporate what he does. You have a protagonist, you have an inciting incident, but what happens after he finds out he is Blackbeard’s son? What is the goal?

“After running away from home a young boy finds a magical coin that sends him back in time to discover that he is the son of the pirate Blackbeard, who he must confront if he is going to return home.”
