      The Lies Between Us-Nice title

so is the granddaughter the antagonist (there cuz no place to go but hates him?) or is it his addiction (still using vs. sober?).

An aging addict’s life is thrown into further disarray when his (adjective-what conflict do you want to imply?) granddaughter shows up at his door looking for (stakes) stability…or money…or…and his response upends the next decade of their lives (why do they want to watch this).

wouldn’t you want to put in stakes? such as..
fights to get clean so he can prove he is the mentor she’s never had but learns to need.

I am learning along with ya…so…not sure but seems like there needs to be more “umpf” more strength than “never thought he was or could be”
