A Hard, easy thing.
As a result of an HIV scare, a college playboy vows to stop his womanizing ways and become abstinent, but this lifestyle change proves difficult and temptation won't take no for an answer.

Thanks, for the reply. My problem with this logline, and honestly with the story in general, has always been the stakes. I wrote the logline knowing the stakes would be an issue but just wanted to see if there were any other problems that I could not discern. My story is indeed similar to the movie 40 days and 40 nights, ironically the main reason that movie didn’t work well was in my opinion due to the stakes. The only solution I can think of is to attempt to delve more into the religious aspect of abstaining from sex, even more so than Lent. Anyway thanks for the help…
Like the idea of a playboy abstaining from sex, but find a way to up the stakes so we care more. What happens if he fails and goes back to his womanizing ways? At the moment…nothing much as long as he wears a condom.
Also, reminds me of the movie “40 Days and 40 Nights”, where a young man vows to stay celibate during the 40 days of Lent, but finds the girl of his dreams and is unable to do anything about it.
