China uses sunlight to stay in totalitarian power, but when a naive scientist discovers how to usurp their control, she's targeted by every national power there is.

Finite Light.

I like this logline. I don’t think I can give you any constructive feedback for improvement. Good job in my opinion.

Wow… thanks I did write it over using 3 pages of notebook paper to get to that point. Also aiming for the 27 words limit as well. Hopefully others think the same or can give constructive feedback to improve it.

I like it. I’m assuming it’s an ‘Enemy Of The State’ -style chase thriller?

If we’re going to be picky, you could try something simpler than “stay in totalitarian power” – “dominate the world”, or similar?

If all the scientist does is cause a solar eclipse, that would be hilarious and I’ll be first in line to see this if it gets made.

      There’s just a B-Movie simplicity to that I can’t resist.

With a huge sci fi edge. It’s a Golden fleece type movie. Huge journey all over the world blah blah blah. It’ll be fun to write though.

You would say something like that. I wish the solution was that simple.
