Having sailed to Australia, a young Swedish girls arrival in Australia is punctuated by the loss of her husband in an unlikely farm accident. In searching for answers she and new friends successfully unearth abuses in Australias work visa program. But Amrita is left with a lifetime of trying to find herself, as she comes to terms with the loss of the love of her life

Blackbird OTT mini 3 part series of about 6-8 episodes each.

A young woman  loses her new husband in a tragic accident. He’d been working picking fruit only to be impaled on an avocado tree, thrown from  a cherry picker. Having just arrived as Covid19 lockdown was gradually being lifted but being in quarantine and isolation  still on the yacht, Amarita had both time to make new friends and to ponder over every message and conversation she’d had with Jago before his death. Lurid tales of girls selling themselves to have their hours signed off on, spoke to her of nefarious activities which Jago her husband might have inadvertently got himself into as her grief engulfs her. Little did she know that despite uncovering a story that would appear on the 6.00 news she was doomed to  spends decades searching for herself. But those are other stories.
