Below is information you should keep (not a logline suggestion)

When a demonic tiger slays men in 19th century Nepal (inciting incident) a famed hunter (protagonist) is commissioned to catch it DOA (goal)

Since it’s a thriller instead of a fantasy, we take it’s just a tiger, as opposed to a real demon. A man eating tiger is still a formidable gamble which you entertain only when you must (however famed a hunter you are) Did the villagers make him an offer he can’t refuse? WHY MUST HE risk it? Make it a little personal for him, to engage with such a beast.

‘the perfect bait’ is vague, unless you have something essential to add. The premise is interesting, good luck with the writing.

Is this based upon an actual historical incident?? If so, I suggest the more appropriate genre is historical.? If it’s fiction, then drop the name of the protagonist — for the purposes of a logline, his name is extraneous.

When does he start using human carcasses for bait?? When all other methods to bait the beast have failed?? Or from the git go?

Oh, well that takes the story in a much different direction with a much different them than what I first gathered from the logline.

I don’t know what to suggest other than that the logline should be framed from the protagonist’s pov.? Who, in this case, is the tiger.? And other than surviving, I don’t know what the animal-avatar wants, what her objective goal is (beyond revenge).

This comes very close to being “The Ghost and the Darkness” (1996)

What separates your movie from that one, other than the setting?
