“When he’s assigned to write an article on an up-and-coming rock band, a precocious 15-year-old has until the end of the tour to somehow convince the reclusive band leader to do an interview.”

      Richiev:

Your version also comes in? at 33 words and is a perceptive description of the steak, how Cameron Crowe framed the plot. I chose to post a promotional version that sells the sizzle.

(I would quibble about the choice of one word; instead of describing the lead singer as reclusive, I would say he’s elusive.? He likes the kid but is wary of interviews because like the other band members, the press is the “enemy”, not to be trusted, not to be confided to.)

Great film and good choice. Could also be interesting to prioritise the love interest as the ‘A’ plot:

After landing a writing assignment, a 15 year old aspiring writer falls in love with a roady following the band he was tasked to cover and must woo her away from the clutches of the lead singer.
