‘It’s just one of those jobs you never get round to’ replies a man at a police station when he hands in a lost wallet after twenty years. A soccer referee rekindles her pursuit of diamonds stolen by her father when the wallet reappears. Attain her goal or surrender to gaol?

Connected through a tragic bus & train accident that took both their mothers’ lives, this soccer drama follows AMY/BLY and GAT from childhood through to adulthood.

It begins with a young girl and boy encountering each other for a brief period on a bus journey. During which time through a tragic accident a red wallet unintentionally passes from her to him.

Twenty years later he unknowingly returns this wallet to her allowing her to re-establish a link to Gat by his ownership of a soccer club – Oneida.

Her soccer addiction enables her to covertly manipulate her way into his affections and hopefully regain the wallet and the key inside to unlock a fortune, but her duplicity has unexpected consequences, crime and fatalities are on the horizon.

A logline is a one-sentence summary of the plot.
Your logline attempt is more of a scene than a plot.
I would also avoid questions in a logline.

“When her father’s wallet reappears, a soccer referee rekindles her search for the diamonds he stole.”

You might also want to add something about who or what is standing in the way of the lead character’s goal.
