And then what?
The logline seems to be a setup for a plot but it doesn’t follow through with a statement of a complete plot. Which a logline should do.
Assuming the mother is the protagonist,? what becomes her objective goal as a result of her son becoming more dangerous?? What must she do about his behavior?? (And what specifically is his abnormal and and pathological behavior that makes her worry, that creates suspense, tension, jeopardy?)
I suggest reviewing the essential building blocks and framework for building an industry standard logline given under the “Our formula” link at the top of the web page.

What sets the story in motion.
Everything is normal then…
Does he kill the family dog? Harm a neighbor kid? Does he harm the psychiatrist who is helping him?
You say he is violent but instead, you should give us a specific example of violence, the act that sets the mother into action.
Think goal.
After getting help for her son only to find he is getting worse a Mum ….. but …….
That sort of thing.
But if getting help is half the story? Look for the one thread that ties the two halves and use that.
