A Dog Named Bear
The journey of a heroic dog in World War II who saves the lives of POW?s aboard a ship when it sinks, and then follows one survivor named John, becoming his protector and friend during his time interned at a Japanese camp.

It feels like the dog is the hero at first but then the focus shifts to John. This is confusing to me.
My gut says the story would work best with John being the hero, trying to get out of (or surviving) the camp. So it’s a kind of buddy movie.
Also clarify what the Inciting Incident is. Is it the sinking of the ship or John being interned?
The logline may betray structural issues with the story…
