The logline isn’t that bad, I would just focus it down a little more
for instance, since we are talking prom, you do not to tell us the lead is a teen.
Here is an attempt to say the same thing you said but with less words:
———————————
“To win the head cheerleader, a prodigy with zero social skills hires a popular but dumb-as-a-rock football star to teach him how to attract his crush in time for the prom.”
——————-
Hope that helped
I’d drop ‘zero social skills’ to is an easy assumption. Teen can go like Richiev said.
An academic prodigy hires the dumbest Jock to teach how to attract his crush before prom.
I would note that in mine I added that the jock was popular as well as dumb.
That makes more sense, You have two characters who are opposite:
The lead character is a genius but has no social skills
The Jock gets along with everyone, but isn’t that bright
As a result you have both conflict (Because they are opposite) and as the story develops, both characters learn something from the experience and gain mutual respect.

Now you could actually add one more element. The lead is a girl. she is this awkward but super intelligent social outcast. She has her eyes on the most popular boy in school.
she hires this easy going, not so bright jock who get’s along with everyone
Over the course of the story the audience will see that she really belongs with him not her crush.
If the nerd needs the charms of the jock to get the girl for the prom then it seems to me the story would be more interesting if ?the jock needs the ?brains of the nerd to stay eligible and play in the championship game. ?They’re a high school Odd Couple who despise each other — and need each other.
