Sounds like fun! I like this idea!
I think Richiev’s version highlights the goal of escaping the Sasquatch and the government agency which I think is more important than simply escaping the wilderness (she’s a forest ranger… surely this is where she’s most comfortable?).
My only query is why does the government agency want to kill her? I think that maybe needs to hinted at. I’m guessing it’s to keep the Sasquatch’s existence under wraps but I think that motive is important to understanding the story.
A forest ranger must escape the Oregon wilderness whilst hunted by a sasquatch and the government operatives out to eliminate them both.
– trying to be as lean as possible for your query.
Protagonist – who must (goal) – or else (disaster will happen if she doesn’t succeed).
or using another formula (as I believe we shouldn’t constantly conform to just one formula.)
1. Who the story is about.
2. What they strive for.
3. What stands in her way (antagonistic force/stakes).
Good luck Kendra.
I don’t think you have to mess too much with his logline:
“When a hesitant forest ranger is kidnapped by a sasquatch, she escapes the beast only to be hunted by both the creature and a secretive government agency out to kill them both.”
