When a self conscious Bunny is fired from his job and kicked out of the North Pole by Santa Claus, he then leaves in search of a way to create his own magical day, until the pressure of making a holiday becomes too much.

Bunny- Tell the beginning of the Easter Bunny and how after working for and then being fired by Santa Claus leads to the creation of his own holiday, Easter.

I like the idea of the bunny wanting his own holiday, but if this is for kids you might reconsider the portrayal of Santa as a person who would fire an insecure, presumably cute and relatable bunny. I’d look deeper into ideas about the bunny’s motivation and reasoning for creating his own holiday.

A unique idea. I was able to imagine a lot of interesting possibilities for this story based on your logline.

Very Interesting idea but I agree with JVGray about the idea of Santa firing a bunny. UNLESS, this is a rated “R” flick where the bunny is foul-mouthed and thinks he is better than everyone. He then sets out to establish he is own holiday only to realize it’s not as easy as it looks. Even then you are borderline “TED” territory.
