The Tragic Roundabout
When an unremarkable adman comes home to find his neglected wife half dead from the drink, he realises that in the grand scheme of things Advertising just isn't that important, and isn't frightened to say what he thinks anymore. His new found confidence sweeps everyone up with him, taking him to the very top, until his wife brings him back down.

Does his being an ‘adman’ have any significance? Is this a comedy – is there any way you can give us a bit more of a clue what kind of film this is?
Yes, sorry that hasn’t come across, it’s a black comedy. I’ve paired it down a bit, see what you think:
‘When an ad exec returns home to find his wife and daughter at death’s door, he reassesses his life, and loses all sense of fear. This blind new confidence causes all around to follow his every word, but propels his wife to seek revenge.’
