When he is rejected by the girl of his dreams, a teenager by the name of Tom Weldon must deal with the depression that follows, and the taunts of the asshole who beat her him to her.

Tom Weldon

Any title ideas would also be great. Hope you like my idea.

I think this sounds a little passive. As an audience member, I’m not sure what type of action Tom is going to take to try to overcome this. You do say “must deal with,” but I think it could benefit from a little more clarity. The whole movie won’t be about him being depressed, but rather he tries to either get her back or find a new girl or whatever it may be.

Two things, I suppose there aren’t any rules about vulgarity, but the use of the A-hole word is not necessary, and might turn off a potential investor. Second, the six words after A-hole don’t make any sense. Maybe take out the first “her” so it says “who beat him to her”
