Is this concept going to deal with the science of solving the ‘time issue’ or the politics of it?

It isn’t clear whether the film will tell the story of a politician putting together the resources needed for the science comunity to do their thing, or a genius directly working on space time himself to solve the problem. In other words, the main action the main character will take is unclear. Richiev made some good suggestions, best to look at them in more detail.

A bucket load of setup and no story.

I don’t really ‘get’ this story.

      Lead character: US president
      Inciting incident: Time goes wonky

      We are good so far.

      What I don’t get,
1:What do you mean by, lead the earth out of chaos? Does that mean he will solve the ‘time’ problem; or does it mean he must get people to stop panicking?

2: Stars can’t move randomly, In fact we do not get the light (What we see as the star) in many cases for thousands, even millions of years. So we see the star ‘a million years ago’

So I think what we need when it comes to improving this logline

1: Drop the bit about stars moving randomly
2: Give us a special skill the new President has to indicate ‘why him’
3: We need a specific goal, He must destroy a time thief. He must go on a quest to find the ‘universal clock’. He must build a time regulator… because just saying, “lead the earth out of chaos” is vague, the story would be how he leads the earth out of chaos.

      Hope that helped
