Yes, that's why I wrote this book and now the script. Little is known about the female mafia bosses in Naples. They are even more vicious than the men. Hollywood always depicts the men, because they depict, as you rightly said, American mafia, who did come from the Italian mafia originally. I live in Italy, have done so for 5 years and met many mafia and was surprised to learn of the females. A story to be told! In the South, the 'Ndrangheta and the Cosa Nostra are also male dominated, but something changes in Naples. Oh well, thanks again for taking the time to give me some feedback. I changed the logline and now I am finishing the script.

Hi, thanks! great suggestion. Yes she takes control. That is the tradition with the Camorra mafia. When hubby dies or goes to prison, the wife takes over. Does assume control not say it well enough?
