A man trying to leave the gang-life is being hunted after his boss discovers he unknowingly introduced an undercover cop into the gang.

He wants to escape the lifestyle he's in..and he's close to being able to do that....Then the undercover cop is discovered and the gang leader begins to go after him....

His life, the undercover cops life and our hero's girlfriends life are all in danger.

This is an interesting spin on the "undercover cop" type story; but you've provided more of a context for a story, than a clear indication of the story. What is your character's objective goal, and is it just his life that is at stake?

I guess i would have to say - the discovery of the cop is a plot point...As im still learning how to write a screenplay, im unsure if it is the inciting incident or plot point 1...

I like where this is headed, but it makes me wonder too much what the role of the undercover cop is. Loglines really start to cramp with more than two characters. The man is the protag, the gang boss is the antag, so where does the cop come in to play? Clarification would help, but I can see this being a fantastic story.
